Both houses have spectacular views along the unspoilt Pelion coastline. Built on the site of Mitzela, ancient capital of Pelion, owned by the same family for 30 years, the estate has been carefully developed to offer the comforts of a hotel with the privacy and atmosphere of your own home. Reached by road, the final part of your journey is through lush forest and coastal paradise.

Accommodation is for 14 people in two self-contained, independent houses. Each house has their own pool and terraces for outdoor dining, comfortably furnished with salon, kitchen, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms.

Surrounded by mature forest within which is found Achilles’ Pool. Nightingales, cicadas and owls provide background music for meals taken under the stars. This is a true retreat from 21st century life, but with Wi-Fi broadband internet, satellite television, CDs and DVDs offered.

Swim in one of two swimming pools, walk or drive to the little natural harbour to snorkel, kayak or sail around the coastline in crystal clear sea. Enjoy a game of tennis on the hard court or take up a table tennis challenge. Explore the area by 4 wheel drive, discover ‘Causeway Beach’, take boat excursions to caves and beaches or simply relax in a hammock to enjoy glorious views.

Weekly rental includes full service, all food including delicious seasonal home grown vegetables, fruit and local wines (very acceptable white, rosé and reds from Macedonia).

Pouri 15km south with restaurant + beach bar, Zagora 20km south (small supermarket, shops, bank, health centre, restaurants/bars). Volos (regional town, international airport) 2 hours drive, Thessalonika (commercial city, port & international airport) 4 hours drive. Helicopter transfers are possible from Athens, Thessalonika or Skiathos.
