The Grange stands independently adjacent to the Chateau of the same name, designed to enjoy the 6 hectares of undulating landscape. Only 3km from Monbahus and 15km from Castillonnes, one of many regional Bastide market towns. A mere 38km from Bergerac airport and main line station.

Restored to a high standard. A spacious salon with open fireplace, carefully designed vaulted kitchen with family dining area. Accommodation is in three comfortable bedrooms all en suite in the main house and all beds can be twin or double. The independent Cottage offers an additional en-suite bedroom with sitting room. House heating ensures comfort throughout the seasons.

A special feature is the enticing swimming pool (11m x 4.5m) with hard cover protection and complete poolside facilities of summer kitchen and shaded auvent dining area. Situated to maximise on the peaceful view that incorporates a reflecting lake complete with central island and coarse fishing.

What we think: Carefully created from a beautiful stone barn, La Grange offers very comfortable accommodation, peacefully situated next to the Chateau. With own swimming pool and spacious lawn this is a perfect place for children to enjoy country life. To be carefully noted: the small etange (lake) with central island and little boat forms a focal view but this can be a hazard to little children who must be supervised.

Set in an unspoilt part of the South West with daily markets in the many nearby villages.

This house is for a maximum of 8 people – all Bedrooms can be made as either Doubles or Twins
