I just wanted to drop you a quick line to let you know what a wonderful holiday we have had staying in Mas des Oliviers. Everything was seamless and it would not have been so great without the invaluable help of Mimoun, Elam and Guy. The house is very pretty and thoughtfully organised. The staff were kind and so helpful and the fortnight worked well. Guy’s cooking was delicious and a big treat for me not having to think about meals for everyone every day. Thank you for the postcard which arrived on our return after a simply wonderful week in Provence at the Mas des Oliviers. There was really nothing we could fault.
We thought the position was superb and that apart from its convenience to Les Baux, St Remy, Arles and other interesting villages and towns, that particular spot was simply lovely, with glimpses of the Alpilles from the garden. We loved the water features and the huge walled pool with its excellently equipped poolhouse, where we had lunch almost every day. We had wonderful weather and were able to eat under the huge shady plane trees every evening with Guy in charge and Mimoun and Ehlam serving.
Guy was absolutely key to the holiday. We all enjoyed his delicious meals, his friendly discretion and understanding. The caretakers were very good too…we hardly knew they were there, but beds were made in the morning and they served almost every meal……it is all accolades from us….a memorable dreamy week in Provence ……2016
