The fairytale 11C hilltop hamlet overlooks the sweeping plains of Tuscany and Umbria. The Castello (private, not for rental) stands proudly within the castle walls creating an impressive backdrop to this beautifully renovated collection of houses. A perfect venue for family holidays, weddings and celebrations.
Narrow lanes lead to a beautiful little chapel with 12C frescoes and bells. A private studio space can be used for gatherings.
An added bonus is the 2023 Michelin one star Restaurant, open from Easter which goes from strength to strength. The exciting news is that this year the restaurant will remain open to 4 January 2024 with special celebrations over Christmas and New Year. With delightful shaded terraces giving panoramic views and the addition of two new apartments ( offered on a nightly basis, if required), the opportunity to enjoy a short break and sample their delicious food is another possibility.
The properties vary in size and all are beautifully designed, very comfortable and elegantly furnished. You can enjoy walks from the hamlet on the quiet lanes and watch the local cattle graze and hear the gentle sound of cow bells as you explore.
Various rental options are available and the properties are offered on a 3 night minimum basis, with the exception of the Casa Parretti apartments which are offered on a 1 night minimum basis:

Fighine is a perfect base from which to visit many wonderful historic towns in Tuscany/Umbria. In particular we must mention San Casciano dei Bagni (5 km) which not only boasts a spa and thermal baths, but now an exciting archaeological site has been discovered. Built by the Etruscans in the second century BC, many fascinating and important treasures have been unearthed, revealing 24 bronze statues and 6000 coins as well as a sleeping ephebe lying next to Hygeia, the goddess of health with a snake wrapped around her arm, and a statue dedicated to Apollo, the god of sun and light, all buried in the ruins of thermal springs.
