The Villa Ruspoli stands in 20 hectares of tended olive groves, fruit trees and organic vegetable garden. The property is located adjacent to the village of Tnine Ourika 34 kms from the centre of Marrakech (35mins) as well as the airport. It was an inspirational location for Sir Winston Churchill who spent many happy hours painting the villages on the nearby hills. The property is perfectly placed for exploring the Atlas Mountains and the world famous Ourika Valley, with hiking, quadbikes or camels all with guides organised locally by the house staff.
This enchanting villa with its history, beautiful gardens and elegant interior was built to be enjoyed in all seasons. A fully staffed home and working property each meal is prepared with fresh produce from the property’s organic vegetable garden and home farm. The property produces its own olive oil, renowned honey and a range of home-made jams from its own fruit and those seasonally sourced from other regions of Morocco.
Accommodation includes a Master Suite with private terrace and external steps to the garden, and a feature tented dressing room and spacious bathroom. Adjacent to the Master Bedroom and with access to the terrace is a smaller double bedroom with a bathroom containing a half bath, ideal for small children. Two other double bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms share the first-floor cloistered corridor overlooking a beautifully tended inner courtyard with fountain. Two further independent suites leading off from the main courtyard, one with secluded roof terrace complete with sun beds and Berber tent for shade, the other with a small drawing room and children’s dining room.
The enticing swimming pool (25m x 12m) with its blue mosaics reflecting the clear water, and the pool house with changing rooms with showers, also offers the secluded dining area and is the perfect spot to enjoy leisurely lunches. Close by is the traditional hammam with relaxation room set in its charming courtyard. The villa is fully set up for those who enjoy playing Bridge with tables and the necessary sets,
has a well-equipped fitness room, a secure gun room (for locally organised shooting parties in the hills and plains), table tennis and croquet.
Tnine Ourika is renowned for having the most important weekly rural souk in the region with Berbers who come from all around including villages in the High Atlas to meet and sell their wares. The village is also known for its renowned herb garden. Tennis and golf are available at the four world class courses in Marrakech. For the adventurous skiing is available from January at the Oukaimeden Resort in the High Atlas (2,700m).

Due to its ideal location, walking and hiking expeditions into the Ourika Valley and the Atlas Mountains can be easily organised by the house staff as well as local Quad biking and camel rides all with reliable guides.
The property produces much of its own produce from its organic vegetable garden and home farm. It produces olive oil, honey, and a variety of jams from its own fruit and those sourced in season from different regions of Morocco.
Tennis and golf are available at the four world class courses in Marrakech. For the adventurous skiing is available from January at the Oukaimeden Resort in the High Atlas (2,700m).
The house is equipped with WiFi, satellite TV and stereo in the library, pool house and fitness room.
