The office will be closed over the Easter bank holiday weekend. We will be checking for messages and emails, so please feel free to get in touch with your enquiries and availability requests, and we will get back to you when the office reopens on Tuesday morning.
Have a wonderful weekend, and we look forward to helping you with your holiday plans.
One of the great highlights of any trip is visiting the markets, a great place to sample local produce, buy gifts and try out your language skills!
When you book with us, because we have visited all of our properties, you can be reassured that not only can we advise you as to the right property for your group, we can also give you an insight into where to go for the best produce, which restaurants to try, and things to do in the area.

Whether you are planning a half term trip, or simply want to take advantage of quieter travel times and more flexible availability, May & June are wonderful times to get away.
Starting on the 22 June 2023, the famous Chorégies d’Orange festival of opera takes place, dramatically staged in the Roman Amphitheatre in Orange. From traditional opera to blends of pop and opera, this is a magical opportunity to combine your love of Provence and opera! Contact us for details of availability at our nearest properties.
We currently have availability for May and June in some of most sought-after properties, so if you can take advantage of travelling outside school holidays, this could be your opportunity to snap up a week!
Tuscan Treasures
Just five km from our properties at Castello Fighine, a major new archaeological discovery at San Casciano dei Bagni has taken the archaeological world by storm. The hilltop village of Castello Fighine, with its beautifully appointed houses and 2 apartments, as well as a Michelin starred restaurant, is ideally placed to explore the newly discovered secrets at this important Etruscan site.

Travel preparations
For some of us, it has been a while since we last travelled, and whilst we might need a reminder of how much liquid we can carry, what we can bring back, or what the Covid regulations are, did you know that there are now new rules to contend with, following the UK leaving the EU?
To avoid being turned back at customs, it is very important is that you check the validity of your passport before travel.
If you are planning to travel to an EU country (except Ireland), or Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino or Vatican City, you must meet the Schengen area rules.
Your passport must meet 2 requirements. It must be:
Check both the issue date and the expiry date in your passport. If you renewed your passport early, extra months may have been added to its expiry date. This could affect the requirement for your passport to be less than 10 years old.
Contact your travel provider or embassy of the country you are visiting if you think that your passport does not meet both these requirements. Renew your passport if you need to. Further information can be found on the government website here.
Making plans…
Our summer is looking busy, how about yours? Many of you have already made your plans, and after two challenging years, our availability chart now resembles the good old, pre-Covid days. However, we do still have some prime weeks available at our wonderful properties, and with the relaxation of travel restrictions, now is the time to book. Whether you are looking to plan a large gathering of family or friends, or a relaxing week with your nearest and dearest, get in touch and let us help you plan your summer escape. March 2022
September getaway
After a short heatwave in the UK this July, the summer has been rather lacklustre since. If like us, you are still toying with the idea of a little late summer sunshine, we have some great availability in September, at properties where July and August availability is often hard to come by.
We love September; the weather is still warm, the beaches and markets are quieter, the prospect of an evening glass of rosé watching the sun go down, whilst listening to the crickets, is still possible, and all without the blankets, jumpers and down jackets necessary in the UK. Contact us for details of late availability.
August 2021
Finally, a reprieve! After a challenging year, and several nail-biting months of wondering if bookings could go ahead, the opportunity to travel is being seized by many, and that dream of a holiday abroad is finally a reality. We have a few last minute opportunities for those keen to make a getaway, and given the temperatures, September also looks to be a great option for those not tied to school holidays. Contact us for more details of availability!
