It was an absolutely splendid holiday in a truly exceptional and special spot. In fact, I think I can say that Domaine St Jacques is a property in a category of its own amongst the many wonderful holiday homes we have enjoyed through PPA over the years! The first and most significant fact that becomes clear pretty quickly is that this is truly a family HOME, and a beloved, cherished and meticulously maintained one at that! This special ambiance was enhanced by its truly distinctive staff, who clearly love and feel valued in their jobs, admire and respect their employers, and are part of the spirit of the place. Chef Franck’s cuisine was truly exceptional, gorgeously presented and as tasty as it was beautiful, and his attention to our allergy sufferer was exemplary and so appreciated; Severine, David , Bruno, Pierre & his team were all discreet but present, knowledgeable and so helpful! We had an amazing time at Domaine St Jacques and we would recommend the villa wholeheartedly. Not only is the house extremely comfortable, with every facility discreetly provided and much attention to detail, but the garden and grounds are wonderful as well, giving a lot of space for everyone. The staff were also absolutely charming and added to the enjoyment of our stay. For our mixed age party (79 years down to 4 years), the comfort of the villa, coupled with the tennis court, pool table, table tennis etc was perfect. It was a great week and we are very grateful to PPA and the owner for making sure everything was perfect for our arrival……………..2018
We have just returned from our stay at Domaine St Jacques du Couloubrier and could not have been more pleased: with the property and with Bruno and David. Bruno is extremely knowledgeable and very, very helpful and fun to be around and the food was great. He makes certain the house guests are well cared for which we found reassuring with 15 people from various countries staying with us. David also was thoughtful and responsive to our every request…most importantly the trips to Nice Airport. Please let the owner know how pleased we were with the house and Bruno and David…………2018
We just returned from our week at Domaine St. Jacques – WOW! This is the fourth property we have rented from Private Prop. over the past years and have always loved each house BUT this one (and I hesitate to call it a house – it was so much more than that) was beyond amazing. I had 5 other couples that I’d invited so was a bit nervous not having seen the house beforehand and to say we were all blown away is an understatement. It is lovely beyond description and the staff of Bruno, Cecile and Patrick were kind, helpful and fun to be with. We will never be able to duplicate the week we had there and want to let you know that you and Priv. Prop. have the best home that exists. We’re telling everyone about it…………………2017
