This Hapsberg yellow baroque Schloss stands proudly above elegant lawned gardens, which descend to the enormous swimming pool with its fountain in the centre, and a clay tennis court.

With a spacious dining room on the ground floor, seating up to 18, the rest of the living accommodation is on first floor. The impressive Long room, with views over the garden, leads into a comfortable salon with study area and stunning tapestries, as well as a large bright drawing room with grand piano and a large variety of games and wonderful works of art.

A full cooking service is included 6 days per week, and the team of housekeeping staff ensure the house runs smoothly.

Summer temperatures of 30 – 35 degrees mean that you may not want to stray far from the pool, or the beaches and boat trips around beautiful lake Wörthersee, and the lake on the estate also provides opportunities for fishing, rowing and picnicking. There are also many castles, churches, and cathedrals of great antiquity and beauty worth visiting. Carinthia has dozens of picturesque lakes within an easy drive.

In the Winter, the house is well stocked with skates and sledges should conditions on the lake allow, otherwise there is an ice rink available for hire nearby. Ski resorts are around an hour away, so easily within reach for a day trip; a cosy fire and afternoon tea awaits you on your return.

The estate has a working organic farm, one product of which is their own Schnapps, and a tasting event with a traditional Austrian band are available on the estate by arrangement, as well as clay pigeon shooting and horse riding.
