Enjoy modern convenience in Baroque grandeur at the foot of the mythical Mont Ventoux.
This 18th century Baroque château has been sensitively and meticulously restored, with an eye on sustainability but with utmost respect for its past. Melding the modern and the traditional, the chateau offers a south facing gallery, complete with grand piano, which flows through to the elegant salon, with its open fire, offering a relaxing haven in both summer and winter. The wonderfully appointed kitchen is complete with all the modern conveniences required for preparing the delicious ingredients the region has to offer, for enjoyment in the elegant dining room or on the terrace overlooking the parkland and pool.
Broad stone stairs lead to the first floor accommodation, where the master suite, with free standing bath, shower and dressing room, also benefits from a balcony overlooking the garden. Two additional ensuite bedrooms, and two bedrooms sharing a modern shower room and separate WC, complete the first floor accommodation. Two further (twin) rooms planned for 2026.
Outside, you can bask in the sunshine on the south facing terrace reflected from the golden walls, or walk across to the romantic pergola, artfully placed on a tiny island on the lake, or lounge by the pool (12m x 6m) fed by the spring, and heated by the solar panels located in the estate’s own solar field. A covered seating area provides a shady lunch spot in summer, somewhere to enjoy a cosy fire in the cooler months, and table tennis whenever the mood takes you. The grounds also include a beautiful private chapel, and the chateau is available for your wedding or special event.
