Eccoci could be described as an Eyrie; a nest built on a platform in the rocks, hovering above the sea, providing you with spectacular 180° views of the seemingly endless Tyrrhenian sea to the south, Salerno to the east and nearby Maiori, with Minori and Ravello beyond, to the west.

This very special property was built nearly 80 years ago by the Owner’s grandparents; whilst dining at a local restaurant, they looked across at this rock jutting out along the coastline of lemon farms and they sketched their idea of heaven. Simple, stylish and relaxed, it will become your haven from the bustle of the Amalfi Coast.

Fly to nearby Salerno (38 km) or Naples (68 km), which is an hour’s drive, either through the beautiful Monte Latarri covered in sweet chestnut forests, or via the coastal road from Salerno. Deserving of its UNESCO World Heritage status, the Amalfi coast’s outstanding beauty and picturesque villages is where lemon grove terraces cover the hillsides to the sea; discover here an authenticity and charm important to both the local communities and visitors alike. Each village has its own Saint Day, celebrating their specialities, whether from the sea, from the land or local manufacturing, such as the glazed tiles carefully sourced and stylishly employed at Eccoci.

Nearby Maiori offers sandy beaches, boat hire, restaurants and the start of the ancient walking trail to the neighbouring town of Minori, the ‘Sentiero dei Limoni.’ Eccoci is a perfect base to explore this fascinating region and the amazing places of interest, such as Ravello, Amalfi and Capri and for those lovers of historical civilisation, Pompei, to name a few.

The air-conditioned accommodation features a bright vaulted sitting room with spectacular views, leading on to a well-equipped kitchen and master bedroom. Three further bedrooms are situated across the Roman inspired inner courtyard, and the house enjoys a wraparound terrace with steps down to the rock platform below and access to sea bathing, when conditions allow.
